Interests: They say that a picture says a thousand words. Through poetry and words, I try to paint a picture in people's minds with inspirational feelings and hope. After all - without hope - what do we have ? ----- Are we Living in a Momentous time in history ? Could we be Living in the time of the end - as written in Bible prophecy ? Will God do away with all pain and suffering on the earth ? Will the Lion Eat straw just like the bull ? Will God bring an end to sickness and death ?? Will the meek live forever on the earth in true peace as promised by God in the Bible ?

'ESUS' and JESUS' (Coincidence?) The "Trinity" of 'Esus"
After stumbling upon the ancient god called "Esus" or "Hesus" - who was part of a trinity, one is left to wonder if the name "Jesus" has anything to do with a deliberate mistransliteration of his original Hebrew name - "Yehoshua".
Some scholars believe that transliteration is not the same as translation and allows for deliberate mistakes to be made in favor of supporting the pagans who were leary of accepting A Jewish Messiah in their midst.
Studies have linked the name "Jesus" to the 'Zeus" of Greek and Ancient Rome, but even the god of ancient Gaul "Esus" also known as "Hesus" - brings even more light to this matter. With Correctores hired by Rome to rewrite scriptures that were objectional to the pagans, one should not be surprised that even the name of our Jewish Messiah may have been tampered with. It is a known fact that th name of the Jewish God of the Bible, "Jehovah" was removed by Correctores more than 7,000 (seven thousand) times, and replaced by the title "LORD" all in capitals (to show that an omission has taken place). Obviously these correctores would stoop even lower to transliterate the name of "Jehoshua" Christ into the more palatable name of "Jesus" for the sake of the pagans of that time period. Let's take a look at the god of the ancients - whose name was "ESUS".
"In order to make the previously despised cult of the Early Christians acceptable to Constantine, emperor of Rome - the new (pagan) Church Fathers had to remove from its teachings certain doctrines which they knew were objectionable to Constantine. To accomplish this, certain "correctors" were appointed, whose task it was to rewrite the Gospels." -Apollonius the Nazarene Part 1: The Historical Apollonius Versus the Mythical Jesus By: Dr. R. W. Bernard, Ph.D. "Learned men, so called Correctores were, following the church meeting at Nicea 325 AD, selected by the church authorities to scrutinize the sacred texts and rewrite them in order to correct their meaning in accordance with the views which the church had just sanctioned." -Prof. Eberhard Nestle `Introduction to the Textual Criticism of the Greek Testament,' Einfhrung in die Textkritik des griechischen Testaments: Eberhard Nestle "the (biblical) manuscripts were carefully revised by the correctores." -"Manuscripts" by Louis Bréhier in The Catholic Encyclopedia, Volume IX (New York: Robert Appleton Company, 1910)
"...theological disputes, specifically disputes over the trinity (Christology), prompted Christian scribes to alter the words of scripture in order to make them more serviceable." -The Orthodox Corruption of Scripture Prof. Bart D. Ehrman
"after the Council of Nicea, A.D. 325, the manuscripts of the New Testament were considerably tampered with by scholars, called `correctores', who were appointed by the ecclesiastical authorities, and actually commissioned to correct the text of the Scriptures in the interest of what was considered orthodoxy." -Archdeacon Wilberforce "What these `correctores' did was to cut out of the Gospels with minute care, certain teachings of our Lord which they did not propose to follow." - "Gospel of the Holy Twelve," by Rev. G. J. Ouseley The Ancient god called "ESUS"
" 'Esus' - The Roman poet Lucan described 'Esus" in a poem, the Pharsalia, dating from the 1st c. AD, the last great battle in the civil war between Pompey and Caesar. In it, he alludes to the journey of Caesar's troops through southern Gaul and their encounter with three Gaulish gods: Taranis, Teutates and 'Esus' (Pharsalia I, 444-6). Lucan describes this triad (trinity) as cruel, savage and demanding of human sacrifice: 'horrid 'Esus' with his wild altars'. In later commentaries on Lucan's poem, probably dating from the 9th c. from Berne, 'Esus' is mentioned as being propitiated by human sacrifice: men were stabbed, and hung in trees and allowed to bleed t o death. The two commentators equate 'Esus' with Mars and Mercury respectively, but this may not pose as great a problem as it first appears, since the word 'Esus' is not so much a name as a title, meaning 'Lord' or 'Good Master'." -Green, Miranda J. Dictionary of Celtic Myth and Legend. Thames & Hudson, March 1992. (p. 93-94) 'ESUS' and 'JESUS' Some scholars have drawn attention to the mistranslation of Christ's name 'Yehoshua' to the Greek 'Jesus'. While some have linked the name 'Jesus' to the Greek god "Zeus', still others have noticed the likeness of the name 'Jesus' to the pagan gods "Esus' and 'Hesus'. The only letter missing is the "J". The 18th century Druidic revivalist Iolo Morgannwg identified 'Esus' with 'Jesus' on the strength of the similarity of their names. “Both Hu and HUON were no doubt originally identical with the HEUS of Lactantius, and the 'HESUS' of Lucan, described as gods of the Gauls. The similarity of the last name to IESU [Welsh: Jesus] is obvious and striking." - Iolo Morganwg (1862, ed. J. Williams Ab Ithel). The Barddas of Iolo Morganwg, Vol. I. MORE ABOUT THE PAGAN GOD OF GAUL "ESUS"
"A well-known section in Lucan's Bellum civile talks about the gory sacrificial offerings proffered to a 'triad' (trinity) of Celtic deities: Teutates, Hesus (an aspirated form of Esus), and Taranis."[1] -M. Annaeus Lucanus (61-65 CE). Bellum civile I.445. "Among a later commentator on Lucan's work, he identifies 'Esus' with Mars. According to the Berne Commentary on Lucan, human victims were sacrificed to Esus by being tied to a tree and flailed."[2] - Mary Jones (2005). Jones' Celtic Encyclopedia "The Gallic medical writer Marcellus of Bordeaux offers another textual reference to 'Esus' in his 'De medicamentis', a compendium of pharmacological preparations written in Latin in the early 5th century and the sole source for several Celtic words. The work contains a magico-medical charm decipherable as Gaulish which appears to invoke the aid of 'Esus' in curing throat trouble."[3] -De medicamentis 15.106, p. 121 Niedermann's edition; Gustav Must, “A Gaulish Incantation in Marcellus of Bordeaux,” Language 36 (1960) 193–197; Pierre-Yves Lambert, “Les formules de Marcellus de Bordeaux,” in La langue gauloise (Éditions Errance 2003), p.179, citing Léon Fleuriot, “Sur quelques textes gaulois,” Études celtiques 14 (1974) 57–66.
"ESUS" - A TRINITY GOD "M. Reinach applies one formula to the subjects of these altars—"The Divine Woodman hews the Tree of the Bull with Three Cranes." in the imagery, the bull and tree are perhaps both divine, and the divine bull, is three-horned, then the three cranes may be a rebus for three-horned (trinity), or more probably three-headed. In early ritual, human, animal, or arboreal representatives of the god were periodically destroyed to ensure fertility. The destruction or slaying was regarded as a sacrifice to the god. Human sacrifices to 'Esus' were suspended from a tree. 'Esus' was worshipped at Paris and at Trèves; a coin with the name 'Æsus' was found in England; and personal names like Esugenos, "son of Esus," and Esunertus, "he who has the strength of Esus," occur in England, France, and Switzerland. Thus the cult of this god may have been comparatively widespread. This triad, introduced by Gauls, was not accepted by the Druids. Lucan lays stress merely on the fact that they were worshipped with human sacrifice, and they were apparently more or less well-known local gods."[4] - J. A. MacCulloch (1911). ‘Chapter III. "And those who pacify with blood accursed Savage Teutates, 'Hesus' horrid shrines, And Taranis' altars cruel as were those Loved by Diana, goddess of the north. | An English Translation of the Name of Christ
An English Translation of the Name of Christ
The name 'Jesus' or 'Jesus Christ' is often used in everything from idle conversation, to bumper stickers and jewelry, to enforcing false teachings, to justifying wars and political agendas, and is even used as a profanity. The name 'Yehoshua' however, has remained pure and holy, known and used only by those who would uphold His name and teachings in the highest regard and thus reserving His holy name for use only in spiritual matters and the most humbled and sincere of prayer and obeisances. 'Yeshua' is a shortened or abbreviated form of 'Yehoshua' in much the same way that 'Bill', 'Will', or 'Willy' is a short way of saying 'William'. In English 'Joshua' is often used in place of 'Jehoshua' as it's abbreviated form. Likewise 'Yah' is a shortened form of 'Yehowah', and in English we find 'Jah' sometimes substituted for 'Jehovah'. Hence we read "Hallelu-jah" or "Hallelu-yah" in songs and praise to Jehovah God. Many Bible names and places have incorporated the holy name of God, 'Jehovah' into their very substance and are therefore called theophoric names.
'Jehoshua' or 'Yehoshua' is a good example of that. It is a 'Theophoric' name that was not only given to Christ at his birth, but was also the name of some of Christ's ancestors as listed in his Bible lineage. It was also the name of the leader who took charge of God's people after the passing of Moses. "Yehoshua is formally a theoforic name with the abbreviated tetragrammaton JHWH as its first element. The first man to bear the name is Yehoshua bin Nun." -An Introduction to the Names Yehoshua/Joshua, Yeshua, Jesus and Yeshu The Ninth North American Coordinating Committee Meeting of the LCJE, Los Angeles, California, 23-25 March 1992. "a few others in the biblical tradition bear the name of Yehoshua, among them is Jozadak's son who, together with Zerubbabel, returned to Palestine from Babylon. Both are positive figures in the biblical tradition -- and therefore their names are also "good". Both these Yehoshuas are mentioned by the long forms of the name, Yehoshua, in the prophets Haggai and Zechariah while Ezra and Nehemiah use a short form, namely Yeshua." -An Introduction to the Names Yehoshua/Joshua, Yeshua, Jesus and Yeshu The Ninth North American Coordinating Committee Meeting of the LCJE, Los Angeles, California, 23-25 March 1992.
"Of course the literary name Yehoshua was not forgotten by those who were familiar with the biblical scriptures." - Jerusalem, 1971, pp. 270-271; 222-253). "It is worthy of note that over the first 100 years after Yeshua of Nazareth it is not possible to demonstrate any significant change of the Jewish nomenclature as to the use of Yeshua. Later, after the middle of the second century A.D., a change occurred resulting in a return to the long form of 'Yehoshua'." -An Introduction to the Names Yehoshua/Joshua, Yeshua, Jesus and Yeshu The Ninth North American Coordinating Committee Meeting of the LCJE, Los Angeles, California, 23-25 March 1992.
"The name Yeshu...Yeshua or Yehoshua, are persistently and consistently used when the name refers to Jesus." - Jesus in the Talmud (in Rabbinic Essays, Cincinnati, 1951, pp. 473-570), 107b (p. 482) "The Hebrew name for Jesus, 'Yeshu', is evidence for the Galilean pronunciation of the period. Jesus was a Galilean." -English translation, p. 13). In Jewish Sources in Early Christianity (Tel-Aviv, 1989, p. 15) David Flusser

| THE NAME THAT IS ABOVE EVERY OTHER NAME
THE NAME THAT IS ABOVE EVERY OTHER NAME "For this very reason also God exalted him to a superior position and kindly gave him the name that is above every other name. That at the name of JEHOSHUA every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that JeHOSHUA Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." (Philippians 2: 9, 10, 11)
"'Yahusha' is the Messiah's Hebrew name - the name that was given him at birth by his Hebrew speaking parents - the name that was given for him to his mother by the angel. The name 'Yahusha' is the Hebrew name of the Old Testament man known as 'Joshua'." - The Name Above Every Other Name by David M Rogers
"In comparison, prior to being transliterated from the Hebrew Bible, the name Iesus did not exist in Greek. Through multiple translations and changes in pronunciation, a tradition of saying "Jesus" has obscured His name, "Yeshua." It has shifted His perceived message and identity from Hebrew to Greek." - Bridges for Peace by David Biven "Yeshua is spelled "Jeshua" and not "Jesus" in most English versions of the Old Testament (for example in Ezra 2:2 and 2 Chronicles 31:15)." - Bridges for Peace by David Biven
.................... "The name Jesus is precious to hundreds of millions of Christians worldwide. Through a series of circumstances, events and mistakes, the name of the Messiah of Holy Scriptures has been passed down to us as Jesus." - The Name Above Every Other Name by David M Rogers "But, in the words of the prophet Jeremiah, 'surely our fathers have inherited lies.' (16:19). The true name of the Messiah has not been faithfully delivered to this generation of believers. In fact, for many centuries, the name of the Messiah of Scripture has been mistakenly rendered Jesus and many have been deceived as to the real name of the One whom we all want to adore." - The Name Above Every Other Name by David M Rogers
"At the heart of the problem with using the name 'Jesus' as a reference to the Messiah is that the name Jesus wasn't and isn't his real name. The historical Nazarene was a Hebrew. He was Jewish, born of Jewish parents. He and his parents and all Israel during those times spoke Hebrew as their primary language. Therefore, he was given a Hebrew name." - The Name Above Every Other Name by David M Rogers "The name Jesus is not a Hebrew name. There is no name even close to sounding like Jesus in Hebrew. Therefore, it is easy to see that the name Jesus is not derived from the Hebrew language. In fact, it is a name derived from the Greek language." - The Name Above Every Other Name by David M Rogers "The name 'Jesus' came to us innocently enough. But there is a huge problem with this name. To ascertain the origin and meaning of the name Jesus, we need first to take a glance at the form of the name. There are several other names which share a resemblance to the form (spelling) of this name. Dionysus and Bacchus are well known pagan Greek deities which share the ending of the name Jesus. This is our first clue. Secondly, the Greek name used in the New Testament manuscripts is transliterated "I-ay-sous" or "yah-sous." This "sous" ending on the Greek name attributed to the Messiah is identical in sound to Dionysous, who is also known in ancient literature as the "sin-bearing son of Zeus." The name Dionysous is fashioned after his father's name 'Zeus', the Greek super god and father of the pantheon. For this reason, many language experts believe that the name Jesus actually originated from a form of the name of the pagan Greek god Zeus, and not from the Hebrew name referred to in Scripture." - The Name Above Every Other Name by David M Rogers
"The "Iay" which forms the first part of the Greek Iaysous is possibly a reference to another Greek deity Iay - the goddess of healing. The Greek name Iaysous, then, is probably a combination of the names of these two Greek gods, Iay and Zeus. This could roughly be translated as "Zeus is healer." (Others suggest a different source word for "Iay" which would render the meaning of this name as "hail, Zeus" or "praise Zeus.")" - The Name Above Every Other Name by David M Rogers "Now, this Babylonian god, known in Greece as "the sin-bearer," and in India as the "Victim-Man," among the Buddhists of the East, the original elements of whose system are clearly Babylonian, was commonly addressed as the "Savior of the world." It has been all along well enough known that the Greeks occasionally worshiped the supreme god under the title of "Zeus the Savior."... When it is known that "Zeus the Savior" was only a title of Dionysus, the "sin-bearing Bacchus," his character, as "The Savior," appears in quite a different light." - The Two Babylons Alexander Hislop (Chapter 2, The Deification of the Child, Section 2, Sub-Section 5).
"The link Hislop has uncovered between the pagan savior and sin-bearer with the name attributed to the biblical Savior and sin-bearer, in light of the similarity in the names of each, suggests that the Greek name 'Iaysous' and its corresponding English transliteration, 'Jesus', are directly related to and derived from the Greek god Zeus and his son Dionysous." - The Name Above Every Other Name by David M Rogers "We should not minimize the effect that the Greek language and culture, which was the mainstream language and culture of that day, had on the propagation of the message Messiah brought to his disciples. As the faith in Messiah's atoning sacrifice was proclaimed and received in the pagan Greek world, it was natural that the Greek mind-set and culture would influence the way those converts expressed their faith. In places where there wasn't a strong history and foundation of Torah study and understanding, the Greek mindset and culture would make inroads into the way converts would live their lives. So, the Greek "equivalent" name Iaysous, because he (Dionysus) was also a "sin-bearing Son of God", would have been thought to be an acceptable and more palatable alternative to the Hebrew name 'Yahusha' for the believing Greek community." - The Name Above Every Other Name by David M Rogers
"In fact, what has really happened is as follows: The early community of believers was influenced by a number of factors as outlined in Samuele Bacchiocchi's book, From Sabbath To Sunday, to change their form of worship from a strictly scriptural model based upon the teaching of Yahusha and the Torah, to a radically different form of worship modeled after the pagan sun-god worship of Mithraism. Just as Constantine changed the scriptural seventh-day Sabbath to first-day Sun worship, the scriptural holy days into the pagan holidays of Christmas and Easter, and the Torah based walk of faith into a de-Judaized anti-Torah lifestyle, even the very name of the Messiah was stripped of its Hebraic roots and source (Yahusha) and was paganized and Hellenized into the form which is fashioned after the name of their supreme deity Zeus (Sous) and his son, Dionyzeus (Dionysous). And in its final form it became Iayzeus (Iaysous). Then, unwitting English Bible translators transliterated the Greek Iayzeus (Iaysous) into Jesus." - The Name Above Every Other Name by David M Rogers
"We do not want to be addressing our Savior by the name which honors the pagan Greek god Zeus or anything similar to it. No one who shares his precious faith in the Creator would want to call Him by the name of any pagan god, either. It is time for all true and genuine believers in the Hebrew and Christian Scriptures and in the Messiah to cast behind them the lies that our fathers have inherited and passed on down to us. It's time to return to the true understanding of our biblical fathers. Let's start calling upon the Savior of the world by his real name. Let's address him by his true name - the name 'Yahusha'." - The Name Above Every Other Name by David M Rogers
.................. "Christ was not given a Greek name at birth. But, in fact, he was given a Hebrew name which was well known and was in common usage at that time." - The Name Above Every Other Name by David M Rogers "What then is his Hebrew name? How can we be sure? A little bit of analysis of the available data and a little bit of reason will lead us to the correct answer." - The Name Above Every Other Name by David M Rogers "First of all, whatever his true Hebrew name is, it must have the meaning of the explanation given by the angel to his mother Miriam (Mary). She was told, "for he shall save his people from their sins." In the Hebrew language and culture, particularly in ancient times, names were given to children which related to the circumstances of their birth, or after a relative, or a name with some prophetic significance. Thus, the meaning of the child's name has something to do with "saving his people from their sins." - The Name Above Every Other Name by David M Rogers
JOSHUA (YEHOSHUA) - SON OF NUN
"The Hebrew name of 'Joshua' son of Nun is pronounced 'Yehoshua' in the Masoretic rabbinic Hebrew text. It is identical to the Hebrew name of the Messiah. By unanimous consent, it is agreed that this name has the meaning of "Yahu (or Yehovah) saves." Thus, we have agreement in this evidence to translate the name of Joshua, and the meaning of the name of Joshua. This evidence points to the irrefutable conclusion that the Hebrew name of the Messiah is the same as the Hebrew name of the man we call Joshua." - The Name Above Every Other Name by David M Rogers "the name "Yeshua" was adopted as the acceptable Hebrew name for the Messiah, rather than the offensive, Hellenistically derived Jesus. It is offensive to refer to the true Messiah using the name of a pagan deity. The word "Yeshua (or Yehoshua)", in the Hebrew tongue, is the generic term usually translated "salvation" and corresponds to (Joshua or Jehoshua) in English)." - The Name Above Every Other Name by David M Rogers
"When calling upon the name which is above every name, we want to be calling upon the correct name. There are many other names which make claim to be great. Let's not make the mistake of calling upon our Messiah in the wrong name. If we call upon a name which is the name of a false deity, we can't be sure of what response we might get. Nor could we be sure of who is responding." - The Name Above Every Other Name by David M Rogers "The Messiah of Scripture has a real name. It is not Jesus. His real name, the name which we should be pronouncing with our lips, is the name Yahusha (Joshua). When you call upon the name of the Messiah, be sure to use his real name. Yahusha or Yehoshua (Joshua or Jehoshua) is his name." - The Name Above Every Other Name by David M Rogers

"The issue IS how to transliterate the real name, Yeshua, from the Hebrew, into English. We certainly don't need to go through Greek into Latin and then from Latin into English. Why would anyone want to take such a circuitous route, unless he's trying to "prove" the validity of the erroneousness, "Jesus?" --IS JESUS a PAGAN NAME? YHWH is Elohim - Yahushua is the Messiah by Yahkov Hartley "The change of the Messiah's name from Yeshua (Yahushua) to Jesus (a mistranslation) certainly serves the purpose of obscuring his Jewish identity and his Jewish ministry. The true ministry of Yahushua the Messiah is and was dedicated to finding the "lost sheep of the House of Israel." --IS JESUS a PAGAN NAME? YHWH is Elohim - Yahushua is the Messiah by Yahkov Hartley Christ Shares the same name with Joshua - the son of Nun. .................................... JOSHUA, THE SON OF NUN Also known as Jehoshua. "Joshua (Hebrew: יְהוֹשֻׁעַ Yehoshuaʿ; Greek: Ἰησοῦς, Arabic: يوشع بن نون Yūshaʿ ibn Nūn), is a figure in the Torah, being one of the spies for Israel (Num 13-14) and in few passages as Moses's assistant." -^ Michael D. Coogan, "A Brief Introduction to the Old Testament" page 166-167, Oxford University Press, 2009 "He is the central character in the Hebrew Bible's Book of Joshua. According to the books Exodus, Numbers and Joshua, he became the leader of the Israelite tribes after the death of Moses; his name was Joshua, the son of Nun, of the tribe of Ephraim, but Moses called him Yehoshu'a (Jehoshua) (Numbers 13:16) the name by which he is commonly known; and he was born in Egypt prior to the Exodus, and was probably the same age as Caleb, with whom he is occasionally associated." -^ Michael D. Coogan, "A Brief Introduction to the Old Testament" page 166-167, Oxford University Press, 2009
"He was one of the twelve spies of Israel sent by Moses to explore the land of Canaan. (Numbers 13:1-16) After the death of Moses, he led the Israelite tribes in the conquest of Canaan, and allocated the land to the tribes. According to Biblical chronology, Joshua lived between 1500–1390 BCE, or sometime in the late Bronze Age. According to Joshua 24:29, Joshua died at the age of 110." - ^ Josephus, Antiquities of the Jews, V.1.28, says that Joshua died twenty years after the conquest of Canaan
"The English name "Joshua" is a rendering of the Hebrew language "Yahoshua", meaning "Yehowah" is salvation". -^ A Hebrew and English Lexicon of the Old Testament Francis Brown, with S.R. Driver and C.A. Briggs, based on the lexicon of William Gesenius. Oxford: Clarendon Press. p. 221 & 446
"The vocalization of the second name component may be read as Hoshea - the name that was used in the Torah before Moses added the divine name of God to it." (Numbers 13:16)." -.^ Fausset's Bible Dictionary ^ Joshua, New Bible Dictionary, second edition. 1987. Douglas JD, Hillyer N, eds., Tyndale House Publishers, Inc., Wheaton, IL, USA ISBN 0842346678
"Yehoshua may refer to: Yehoshua, the Hebrew name of Joshua, the son of Nun or of Jesus, the Christ; since both hebrew names are identical. Joshua (Hebrew: יְהוֹשֻׁעַ Yehoshuaʿ; and both have the same meaning. Why do some Bible's translate it as 'Joshua', while others translate it as 'Jesus'? There is a definite inconsistency here." "This early Biblical Hebrew name יְהוֹשֻׁעַ [Yehoshua`] underwent a shortening into later Biblical יֵשׁוּעַ [Yeshua`], as found in the Hebrew text of verses Ezra 2:2, 2:6, 2:36, 2:40, 3:2, 3:8, 3:9, 3:10, 3:18, 4:3, 8:33; Nehemiah 3:19, 7:7, 7:11, 7:39, 7:43, 8:7, 8:17, 9:4, 9:5, 11:26, 12:1, 12:7, 12:8, 12:10, 12:24, 12:26; 1 Chronicles 24:11; and 2 Chronicles 31:15 – as well as in Biblical Aramaic at verse Ezra 5:2."
"During the post-Biblical period the name 'Yehoshua' was further shortened to the form Yeshua and was adopted by Aramaic and Hebrew speaking Jews to refer to the Christian Jesus, however Yehoshua continued to be used for the other figures who were called Jesus.[11] In both Latin and Greek, the name 'Yehoshua" and 'Yeshua is declined altogether, in favor of 'Jesus'". - ^ Robert E. Van Voorst Jesus outside the New Testament ; 2000 ISBN 13: 9780802843685 p124 "This is likely an inference from the Talmud and other Jewish usage, where Jesus is called Yeshua, and other Jews with the same name as Christ are called by the fuller name Yehoshua, "Joshua""
DID THE ANGEL SPEAK TO MARY IN GREEK OR DID HE SPEAK TO HER IN HEBREW ? What Does the NWT (New World Translation) say regarding Christ's name as recorded in the Bible. A Footnote in the New World Translation at Matthew 1:21 - shows that the angel announced to Mary that her son was to be called "Yeshua" and not Jesus. Mary was Hebrew and obviousy the angel spoke to her in Hebrew. The footnote reads; In NWT Large print Bible. - "Jesus" Greek, (Iesoun) Hebrew (Yeshua), "Jeshua", meaning 'Jehovah's Salvation'.) The Messiah's name is actually the same name as Joshua, Son of Nun... correctly pronounced "Yahushua". It is quite evident that the modern form "Jesus" doesn't even remotely resemble the original name that the disciples were praying in, baptizing in and receiving so much criticism for preaching in. This is fact. Do some research and see for yourself. "Jehoshua, meaning 'Jehovah is Salvation'." -The Catholic Encyclopedia Vol. 8, p. 374 "The play on words (Yehoshua shall save) is possible in Hebrew but not in Aramaic. The name Joshua means "Yahweh is salvation." -Interpreter's Bible: (Note on Matt. 1:21)

"Our translated scripture says that Yahweh's Son's name is Jesus, a compound word of Ie and Zeus. But remember the heavenly messenger spoke unto a Hebrew, and declared His name in the Hebrew (yahshua), which the writer explained to mean, "Yah is Salvation." - Chapter 3 THE ORIGIN OF CHRISTIANITY By A. B. Traina
"This name, Yahshua, being Hebrew, was objectionable to the Greeks and Romans, who hated the Judeans, and so it was deleted from the records, and a new name inserted. Yahshua was thus replaced by Ie-Sous, now known to us as Jesus. They had worshipped Zeus, or Jupiter, as the supreme deity, so now they were told the new name was Theos, or Dios, or God. Their savior was Zeus, so now they were to accept Jesus (Iesous, or Zeus)." - Chapter 3 THE ORIGIN OF CHRISTIANITY By A. B. Traina "Strong's, Hebrew # 3050; Yah; the sacred name. As Yahshua was the Son of Yahweh, it was evident that He would carry His Father's name, and He plainly states saying, " I am come in My Father's Name." John 5; 43." - Chapter 3 THE ORIGIN OF CHRISTIANITY By A. B. Traina
"The only Savior in the Scripture is Yahshua, the Son of Yahweh, who has come to restore the peace with Yahweh...He came in His Father's Name and by that we must adore Him. Away with the pagan, heathen name 'Jesus', and exalt the Savior, 'Yahshua', the Son of Yahweh, by His own name." - Chapter 3 THE ORIGIN OF CHRISTIANITY By A. B. Traina
"The god of the Christian world is only Bel, Moloch, Zeus, or at least Osiris, Mithras or Adonai (Adonis), under another name, worshipped with the old pagan ceremonies and ritualistic formulas. It is the statue of Olympian Jove, worshipped as the Father, in the Christian church that was once a pagan temple; it is the statue of Venus, become the Virgin Mary." - Pike, Morals and Dogma, p 296.
"After the death of the disciples, Yahweh was no longer the one worshipped in the Assemblies, and the gods of the nations would be worshipped as another Jesus, would take His place in the Bible, and in the new religion. John 5; 43, (2 Cor. 11; 4)" - Chapter 3 THE ORIGIN OF CHRISTIANITY By A. B. Traina
"Pagan temples became Christian churches, Pagan idols became holy days, Pagan rites and ceremonies became Christianized - and so was born Christianity." - Chapter 3 THE ORIGIN OF CHRISTIANITY By A. B. Traina
